  • Committee Chair of the Public Relations Committee (07-08). The goal of the committee is to increase the positive image of Hill Middle both inside the school and in the community.
  • Past member of the School Improvement Team (04-06), Positive Behavior Support Committee & Discipline Committee (04-07).
  • Assist the Tier I specialist with the AlertNow phone dialer (06-08) and regularly types messages on the Bogen announcement/clock system (04-08)

  • Presented at the A+ Conference at UNCG, summer of 2005 on Art and Digital Cameras.
 
SKILLS
    Uses and maintains a personal desktop and laptop computer utilizing Windows XP professional operating system. She uses Microsoft Office software, Smart Board interactive white board hardware and software, Classroom Performance System hardware and software, scanners, color printers, digital still and video cameras, document cameras, and LCD projectors. She currently maintains the school web page using Microsoft Frontpage.

Educational Sign Language Interpreter, Parkland High School
Facilitated communication for eight deaf and hard of hearing students at Parkland.
  * Educational Sign Language Interpreter, King Elementary
Worked as a one-on-one interpreter for a 4th grade deaf student in a self-contained EC classroom.
  * Instructor, Sertoma 4-H Educational Center
Designed the curriculum and taught public speaking and outdoor living skills. Helped facilitate the general initiative and high ropes course.
  * Digital Arts Instructor, Metropolitan Arts High School
Developed a digital arts curriculum so students could acquire website design, animation, graphic design and video editing skills. Maintained the Macintosh computer lab and facilitated the publication of the yearbook.
